Bib Necklaces on Hand
I was a bit disappointed in my previous entry about my thing in bib necklaces. I was disappointed because that time (specifically last year) I haven't found one in my area and that gave me the urge in making one for myself instead. As I went on retail therapy few weeks ago, I was surprised that almost every stalls I went to in the mall had one on display. I then concluded that fashion industry here really needs improvement. I think we are kinda late in terms of the latest in fashion and trends. Anyhow, I wanted to share to you pictures of the bib necklaces I made so far.
This is the second bib necklace I made, this is inspired by my pink VS bag. I think both will go well in one outfit esp. if paired with a plain white top. This is made of buttons from my old jacket, pink ribbons and furs and some stuffs I found in my box.

This is what I call 'done-in-one-sitting' bib necklace. Maybe because the idea is clearly manifested that I was able to finish sewing it right away. It is made of black chiffon cloth, black and white flowers and ribbons. Perfect example of something goth-inspired.

Sue me for being a 'bad' blogger for I was supposed to take pictures of my DIY stuffs (and the making) before wearing and posting them. Anyway, I wore this necklace during my son's christening. Made of old lace I found in my mother's old boxes and flowerettes I bought from the mall. Originally, the color of these tiny flowers were black and white but I was amazed that the back part was color grey (considering that grey is one of my fave) So I sewed it the other way around instead and I was so proud of the outcome. When I wore this, a lot were asking already if I can make one for them. LOL
